4. What do I need to consider when scheduling my flights?

Travel time is around an hour from the airport to Lake Lanier Islands Resort. Remember to allow time for airport security checks, baggage claim, walking the concourse, etc. And when planning your flight home, please allow at least an hour of travel time from the hotel to the airport, and get to the airport at least 90 minutes before your scheduled flight time.

5. What do I need to bring with me?

Atlanta weather in October is generally pleasant, with highs in the low-mid 70s and lows in the mid-50s, so pack clothes accordingly. There is always a chance of rain, so best to bring a raincoat or light jacket and an umbrella.

There is a gift shop available at the resort for those interested in picking up souvenirs; you may want to bring pocket money for that.

A conference tote bag with pen and notebook will be provided, so it is unnecessary to bring those with you. If you have district-specific questions or issues you would like to discuss with a member of our technical team, bring your list/examples.
